Oh dear :( Poor sweetie (both your sister’s kitty and you and your sister)! Hope everything checks out all right!

Oh no. :( Sick/injured pets is so distressing. :(

Thank you all!

We got back from the emergency clinic, but the vet was dealing with a critical patient so was unable to see him anytime soon. Both my sister and I had to be somewhere in a couple of hours, but the vet technician who cleaned him up and examined him told us that his heart rate was normal, he wasn’t running a temperature and aside from a small scratch and missing fur on the side of his head, he had no other bites or wounds. He was behaving normally at the clinic and responding to us.

I was mostly worried about why he would move so slowly and hide under the bed. He’s normally very inquisitive and social so we were hoping it wasn’t a major injury. We brought him back home and my sister’s going to give him a bath (like he needs more stress :p). Hopefully he’ll be fine, but we’re probably going to make an appointment with a regular vet tomorrow.
