Shall I see you tonight, sister, bathed in magic greet?
Shall we meet on the hilltop where the two roads meet?

A dialogue…

“Hello, sister.”

Celeste: “Is it you, Sibyll…? It’s been too long.”

Sibyll:  “Very much so. You look well for one who’s dead.”

image

Celeste

: “And you are as beautiful as I remember.”

Sibyll: “Yes. For someone also quite dead.”

image

Celeste:  “Why have we been brought here?”

Sibyll: “The whim of the powers that be, I suppose. I’ve no idea.”

Celeste

: “Then I will place my trust in the Watcher.”

Sibyll: “You always did. Despite everything that’s happened to us.  Come, my dear, you cannot tell me that we’ve had pleasant lives.  I drink blood and haven’t seen daylight in one thousand years. And you… are transparent.”

Celeste:  “I have faith that the Watcher has a plan for us all.”

Sibyll: “I have faith that the Watcher has no clue what she’s doing.”

Celeste

:  “We should be three here. Where is our sister?”

Sibyll:  “Please, dear, I’m having a pleasant night without you invoking her…”

image

Helene:  “All this time, and you still think the worst of me, Sibyll?”

image

Sibyll:  “And there she is, the witch herself.  In the flesh.”

Celeste:  “Sibyll, be kind.”

image

Helene:  “I prefer ‘Sorceress’, but ‘Witch’ will do.  Am I late?”
